How to cook it?
Usually, for mackerel, the Japanese just season it simply with salt before cooking to enjoy the natural taste of the mackerel fish. Our mackerel is already cleaned and seasoned with salt, making it more convenient for you to pan fry or bake. Just defrost in the fridge overnight and place it on a pre-heated pan, oven or even air fyer. Some restaurants or eateries might deep fry the mackerel to create an even more crispy texture. Finish off the dish with a squeeze of lemon.
However, if you would like an even stronger taste, you may drizzle some teriyaki sauce over as desired.
