Fried Ramen with Sliced Pork Belly (serves 4)

 

Ingredients

250g Pork belly Shabu Shabu (iChef)

2 pcs ramen noodles, defrosted (iChef)

200g Edamame, defrosted and skin removed (iChef)

1 carrot, sliced

5 shiitake mushrooms, sliced

½ white onion, sliced

5 cabbage leaves, sliced

2 Stalk of Spring onions

3 ½ oil

Aonori (dried green seaweed)

Pickled red ginger

 

Yakisoba Sauce

2 tsp granulated sugar

2 tsp soy sauce

4 tsp oyster sauce

4 tsp ketchup

4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Stir all the ingredients for Yakisoba sauce and set aside.
  2. In a wok, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add pork belly and stir-fry until no longer pink
  3. Add sliced onions and carrots and fry for 1-2 minutes
  4. Add cabbage and fry until soften
  5. Add the green onion, edamame and shiitake mushrooms and fry for another minute.
  6. Add the noodles
  7. Add Yakisoba Sauce and stir until well mixed
  8. Transfer to plates and garnish with dried green seaweed and pickled red ginger and serve

Tip:

  • Loosen the noodles with your hands before adding to the wok so that the sauce will coat the noodles more easily and evenly when frying
